WATCH SERVICE
The Watch Service is designed to safeguard industrial property rights such as trademarks, patents, utility models, industrial designs, geographical indications, and traditional product names not only during the registration stage but also throughout the post-registration period. In this context, the Official Bulletins published by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) as well as international databases are systematically monitored to identify applications that may conflict with or infringe upon our clients’ rights at the earliest opportunity.
Our Watch Service extends beyond the national level, encompassing international platforms including the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Through this global scope, our clients’ rights are effectively monitored and safeguarded across multiple jurisdictions.
Where potentially conflicting applications are detected, the necessary oppositions are filed within the statutory deadlines provided under the applicable industrial property legislation. As part of this process, clients are kept fully informed about potential legal risks, the appropriate strategy is determined, and all proceedings are diligently pursued before the competent authorities.
The Watch Service provides a proactive and dynamic mechanism to preserve our clients’ industrial property portfolios, prevent potential infringements through timely intervention, and ensure the long-term security and value of their rights.
